Marissa has served in ministry for over twenty years. She grew up at Harbor Christian Center in Wilmington, California, since childhood and joined the staff there in 2009. As the creative arts pastor, Marissa oversees worship, media, and other church-wide initiatives. She is also the executive producer for Harbor Music, a family of worshipers with a heart-cry for revival. Marissa loves to create on a keyboard—either a computer or a piano. 

From behind-the-scenes production to speaking on a platform, Marissa is passionate about creating a space for people to encounter the presence and power of God in a tangible, life-transforming way. Her heart is to see His Kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven. 

Marissa has a bachelor’s degree in communications from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and a master’s degree in leadership studies from Vanguard University. Besides Jesus, some of her favorite things include tennis, the movies, and spending time with friends.
